During the property boom of the early 2000’s, the smallest plots of land were being snapped up for ridiculous prices and developed to every boundary. This roof top proposal was an early concept for prefabricated interconnecting pods on top of the flat I owned from 1999 to 2002. The site was any flat rooftop in the city and the game was to purchase the air rights above the bricks and mortar. Any size of dwelling could be constructed and craned into position and simply connected to the building’s services.
